[Theme: Elegant Fusion] Preview Issues

My home page was set to be a static page, simply a list of my ten most recent posts. It used to show the featured image and a short preview of the article itself. Now, instead of a short preview, it displays several paragraphs worth of text (for shorter posts, often the whole thing).

I have fiddled with the page settings, experimenting with different options such as full page, blog style, etc. I have also adjusted the appearance and Fusion Theme Options, but nothing reverts the home page back to short previews.

I also noticed that other previews that were supposed to be short (ex: clicking on a tag or category to show all posts pertaining to it) had the same problem.
