Theme Editor not loading anymore after update

  • I’ve just updated my wordpress to 5.2 and it seems that now my theme editor, which used to appear automatically when I clicked on a specific page to edit, is not there.

    I’m using Semplice, which has a content editor that I used to go through to add, edit, or delete blocks, columns and all content. I’ve reached out to them too to see if there’s a known issue with the theme, but it seems that since this happened immediately after updating to the new wordpress that the two are probably related.

    The best option is to revert back to the previous WP version in which the theme and the site works and then to check when the new update of the theme will come that is comptable with the latest WP version.
    To revert back to previous WP version search for plugin- WP downgrade and use it.
