Theme Does Not Display Properly on IE8

    Hi, I purchased this theme and it looks great. The problem is that it is supposed to be compatible with IE8, IE9, etc., but does not display correctly on IE8. From what I can tell using Emulation for IE8 in Developer Tools is that the problem exists in the file: custom.js.php

    It shows the line of code causing the issue as:
    jQuery (“.responsive_text > *”).fitText(1.2);

    This is the error it displays:
    Object doesn’t support property or method ‘fitText’

    Does anyone know how to fix this?
