[Theme: Divi] Blog posts not loading on child theme

    Hi there

    Am tearing my hair out trying to figure out what the problem is, and am really hoping somebody could please help me?

    On https://www.anserai.com, I have just installed the Post Revolution plugin for our blog page and it was working fine, but just recently the individual blog pages have stopped loading when you click on them. The same thing is also happening on two other pages where I have used the blog module without this Post Revolution plugin.

    I do not think it’s a problem with this plugin or any of my other plugins, as if I revert back to the Divi theme (as opposed to my child theme) then the blog pages load fine. I also do not think it’s a problem with my CSS code on the child theme as I tried deleting it all from the editor, and the blog pages were still not loading with no CSS code at all.

    I have also asked the plugin designers for help but they have only come up with the fact that it works ok on the non-child theme.

    Any ideas?! Am really confused because they were loading fine on my child theme and I do not think I did anything to make it suddenly stop.

    All help really really appreciated, thanks so much in advance. Our site is live so it’s quite urgent too.

    Update: I also just tried deactivating the Post Revolution plugin on the child theme, and that did not work either. So I think there must be something specifically wrong with the blog function of the child theme?

    Update: have also tried all of these troubleshooting ideas:

    Also made all the posts unsticky, that has not worked.

    Have also tried updating/shortening the permalinks, not worked.

    Ok have finally figured this out, thought I would share in case anyone has the same issue.

    I had created a child single.php file as I was faffing around trying to stop the featured image loading in the post pages. This was empty though as I’d figured out how to do it with CSS so I deleted the single.php file from child theme and it solved the problem of the blog pages not loafing in the child theme. Strange though as it was empty anyway, but it did the job.
