[Theme: Distinction] Archives template

Hi. I changed from TwentyEleven to Distinction (which I MUCH prefer). I would like to apply the ‘archive template’ as seen here: https://themes.wpninjas.net/distinction/archives/date/2011/03.

This would allow navigation on the right to my archives, comments and also the ‘follow/sign up’ widget on my HOME PAGE. I got this right in the TwentyEleven theme, but all this has moved to a page I created which you need to click through from my home page. Here is my site if I am sounding confusing: https://www.cogitate.mobi. In summary, can I put all the the navigation stuff on my home page, not on the ‘a little about me’ page?!
