Theme Deveploment Questions

I developed my very own theme and I want to know something:

1- I want a space between the featured image and the title and meta details. ( https://imagehosting.biz/images/2014/03/02/Capture.jpg )

2- I want to delete this line. ( https://imagehosting.biz/images/2014/03/02/CaptureKoxpm.jpg ) ( This is before comments )

Note: I attached 2 images, Each one in a bracket next to the problem ??
I designed this theme with instructions from a blog so, I do not know which line to delete exactly in problem 2>
