Theme development: theme URI

    Hi,

    I can add a theme URI in my stylesheet:

    Theme URI is optional. If used, it is required to link to a page with information about the Theme. If a demonstration site is being used, the content must be related to the theme itself and not test data.

    I want to add a link to a demonstration site like this one (link). Is this allowed? Or does this site contain so called ‘test data’? Don’t fully understand this definition.

  • Hi,

    It should take the user to a page where they get more info about the theme, not just a demo. If you are using a demo site then it should contain info about the theme, like how to use it and where to get. All the info that you will normally have on a theme details page.

    Yea, it’s test data. And the thing is, you can ask the theme related questions here but it’s not the best place. Head over to over Slack and join the #themereview team. ??
