[Theme: Delicate] New version Ideas

My 5 cents:

1) In the header links for pages, it would be nice to have a link for the front page (in my case the posts page). I overturned this by creating a page and changing the slug into index-php but this solution is not ideal.

2) Add date of publication to the posts.

3) A second template with just one column and no sidebar.

4) A footer area for widgets or content.

Keep on the good work. Thanks for the theme!

Only now I saw that the answer for number 3 is one of the previous posts.

I love the Delicate Theme but would second a request for a home link added the Header by default. Great job on a beautiful theme!

I also really like this theme. Here are some suggestions:

(1) Add a header slider feature for the image.

(2) Like someone else said, date the posts.

(3) Secondary menu bar for the footer & or, 3 footer widget areas.

(4)Some slight revisions with the category meta titles. Instead of having it be “Blog Name” – Archive – Category , perhaps it could be “Category” | Blog Name or something like that.

Overall I like the theme.

One small item: The 404.php seems to have a problem. To fix I copied 404.php from another theme. Without this, when going to a page that didn’t exist you’d get a page without content and a sidebar with the default widgets, even though there were widgets in both the main sidebar area and the Inner Page/Post sidebar. Thanks. Looking forward to the upgraded theme!

1) post-dates
2) bullet images
