    Hi,

In the dashboard, I deleted a them (Atahualpa 3.4.9) by clicking on the “delete” link underneath it.

After getting a confirmation that the theme has been deleted, I could still see it in the dashboard, and it still had the option “activate”.

When I clicked “activate”, instead of my website I get a bunch of errors such as: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
    etc’.

I’d appreciate someone telling me how to completely clear the theme from my filesystem and the dashboard so that I could start again fresh.

  • 1) Delete your browsers cache.

    2) Use an ftp client or the file manager in your hosts control panel to verify that the Atahualpa theme directory, and its entire contents no longer exist.

I tried to update WordPress from 3.0 to 3.1.
The update failed but the site remained on.

Looking for Atahualpa through the file system, I cannot even find the “themes” folder.
