Dandelion theme How can I put a slider and sub title on same page?

I was wondering if there is a way for the sub title to stay on the page, right underneath the logo and menu, when a slider is enabled. On the page editor, the subtitle has a message that reads “This is the subtitle that will be shown on the page if no slider is enabled.” Can I do this or do I have to find somewhere else to put my line?
