Theme Customize page continually refreshes

  • I’m currently using the Grand Collge theme by Good Layers. When I go to Appearance>Themes>Customize from my dashboard, the page keeps on refreshing and I can’t customize my theme. I’m new to WordPress and I’m not sure what to do to resolve this issue. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

  • Revert to WordPress default theme, then again switch back to the current theme and try your customizations. If it does not work, re-upload a freshly downloaded copy and try again.

    I have an active site using the Grand College theme. If I revert to the default theme will that mess with me site?

    No, you can safely switch themes. All your site contents are stored in your database.

    Still, backup your site as a matter of precaution.
