I’m somewhat of an expert in WordPress, but this problem never occurred earlier. My website was working fine as of 2 months ago. When I visited my website day last week, I discovered the administrator dashboard wasn’t loading, but the page was reloading again and again by itself. I decided to reinstall WordPress. It was difficult, as deleting the file wordfence-waf.php caused an error with PHP, due to which a blank page appeared. I finally restored the file and reinstalled WordPress.

However, after reactivating all my plugins, I restored only the posts.sql table in my database from an earlier backup. I’m not sure whether its due to this, but after that all the pages and posts were restored, but the theme customizer didn’t save any changes I made. I’m using a child theme of Freesia Empire. I tried making changes with the Twenty Twenty theme, but the result was the same. When I add any pages to the menu either from the dashboard or the customizer, nothing appeared in the list. Also, I’m unable to upload images, as it just says “upload failed”. I think these problems may be related. Could anyone please help me? Thanks in advance.

Okay, I finally found the problem. Hope this helps anyone having such an issue. The problem was with restoring posts.sql database table from the backup, as restoring backups causes trouble for some reason. I removed it, created a blank posts.sql table, and it solved itself. The uploader is also working now. Images and media also uploads. I copied the content in the pages by restoring the backup in WAMP Server 64 on my Computer. Then my website started working normally again.
