Theme Customization Help Needed

  • Hi, wondering if anyone out there with coding skills would be able to help me.

    I’m working on making a blog for a friend, and having the wordpress theme match the style of his current website, so that it fits inline with all the other pages.

    I’ve been able to do this so far with the default theme. My only problem is that I want to insert a navigation bar under the header image, and do not know how to do this.

    I want to be able to put the same HTML links inside of the blog page.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Well, what I would do is remove the khaki stripe from under the header image. It does not need to be part of that image. Then all you need to do is copy/paste the navigation HTML and CSS from the main website.

    Does that make sense?
