Theme Customisation

  • Hello Everyone

    I seem to be having a problem with the customisation of a theme, and by that I mean, I cant change a single thing about the template because it doesnt even have the options to do so… let me explain…

    So Im currently working on the fitzgerald template on one of my sites, ive customised it and I am ready to use it on my main site. I switched to my main site, installed the theme through wordpress and now there isnt any option to change things such as background, edit css, editor. These options were there for when I used it on the first site, but when installed on the other there is no sign of them. Help!

    Sounds like files are missing. How did you move your files to the new site? Did you have a fresh wordpress install and upload your backed-up files and database to the new URL?

    If you’re just starting over on the new URL instead of moving what you already did, I would consider a fresh install of wordpress & the theme.
