Theme Creates Fatal Error with WooCommerce

  • Hi,

    The GO theme is creating the following fatal error when Woocommerce is installed. This is then preventing other plugins from utilizing the REST API. Please advise.

    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_cart_contents_count() on null in /public_html/wp-content/themes/go/includes/woocommerce.php:361

    Sorry for the delay in responding, I hadn’t seen this issue. What are the steps to reproduce this? I’m going to dive in and take a look and see if I can reproduce the error. We have a demo site running the Go theme and WooCommerce, but we’re not seeing any errors or warnings. I’ll do some testing locally and see if I can reproduce the error.

    Hi, thanks for your response. I’m not sure. I’ve been having an issue with a different plugin not reaching the REST API. I reached out to the developer and he told me the issue is created by the theme. I will try to reach them to find out where they encountered this. I understand it’s a backend error.

    It is possible the Woocommerce store will have an issue. I’m not using the store actively yet so I can’t tell.
