Theme crashes with WP 4.3.0 ?

    Hi Richie,

    https://oldcityties.com/ has crashed when updated to the last WP version.

    Message
    “Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use __construct()…..”

    The hosting support suggested the issue comes from the theme.
    Is there a problem?

    We have restored to WP 4.2.4. The site was down ( wp admin included ) with WP 4.3. ??

    this is not theme error, its wp php error notice, it shouldn’t effect the site function.

    So when you restored to WP 4.2.4, did that fix the downtime issues?

    Sorry for the delay in answering.
    Yes the site is ok with WP 4.2.4.

    Had no time to try again the update to WP 4.3
