[Theme: Coraline] Adapt secondary widget area for use on posts only

I’m creating a Child Theme of Coraline using the Content-Sidebar layout. Is there a way to commandeer the secondary widget area so that I can use it in posts? I’m thinking I need to change the sidebar code a bit, but I’m not exactly sure how.
