Hi Anton,

I too am a fan of your theme. I tried your css hack to remove the automatic color highlighting of the first letter in each paragraph but it only works if the font color is black (or whatever color is specified).

Is there a way to remove the automatic color highlighting altogether or a css hack so that the first letter matches the color being used at the time.

Sorry for bothering you — I simply removed the first letter code from the css.php file and all seems to be working.

How would I set the background image to not scroll with the page
i.e background-attachment:fixed kinda thing
tried several ways and havent found the solution yet

I’ve been having a lot of fun with Constructon. It’s a great framework. My sidebar content is extending past the container and background. You mentioned a while ago you were planning to fix this in an upcoming release- I’m using 0.6.0, so is these a different issue? My blog addy is thekickback.net

Thanks so much for creating this valuable resource. I’m a wordpress noob, though a PHP dev with lots of experience in Drupal. I’m wondering if you have some written docs on how to utilize the slideshow feature from the end user or client’s standpoint.

Here’s the settings from the config.php file for my subtheme “firehouse” viewable at https://wordpress2.kenyonbrown.com.

I’m interested in a slideshow of images appearing below the header and above the three-column layout of the content area. I’m not making it past the conditional logic for showing the slideshow. How will the end user add images to wordpress so that htey will show up in the slideshow? Any help is appreciated. I’m not familiar with the wordpress api yet, but am starting to learn.

I was wondering. I am new to using WordPress (just installed latest version-2.8.x). I found your template and thought it was quite impressive. But, I had a problem when I had an image added within a post. With an image in a post, the footer and footer image moved down – out of place. This is with all the default settings for the theme.

I didn’t see anyone else mention a problem like this here. So, I wanted to ask about it. And I hadn’t noticed any problems like this with several other themes.

Again, I was very impressed with this theme, thanks for such a great theme!

Any ideas with the image problem?

You can choose one of following:

Use default slideshow with links to post:

• edit post
• add new custom field “thumb-slideshow”
• add custom field value – link to image like https://www.google.com/logos/moonja09.gif

OR

Use NextGenGallery plugin:

• create gallery
• choose it on “Slideshow” tab on theme customize page

Hi Anton,

I’m using your theme for a website here in Germany. It is truly amazing, well done!

There’s only one thing that keeps bugging me: I’d like to have the background color of comments constantly white. Currently, it’s a flip-flopping between white and the current background color which is red.

Can you help me out?
