  • If you use the widget menu you need to disable pages using drop down in customise/ header / header menu (the check box should be checked). Remember to press F5 to ensure you are not looking at cached versions of your web pages.
This is a very versatile theme with many combinations to explore!

Thanks, I have followed your instructions & placed the jQuery Mega Menu widget in the Top Menu, but the standard Constructor drop down menu still shows.

    Any idea why?

Not sure what’s hapenning. I have not tried using the jQuery Mega Menu widget. Suggest you try standard wordpress menu first to test it will work:

    Using wordpress menus
    – create a new menu – select pages to include in menu and save the menu. select the saved menu in the theme location header menu drop down.

    In constructor theme:
customise/ header / header menu (the check box should be checked). Disable pages using drop down under menu items

Remember to press F5 to ensure you are not looking at cached versions of your web pages.
You should find that your new menu shows instead of the constructor menu.

    Thanks Malcia,

That’s exactly what I have been doing – using a custom menu instead of the standard constructor menu. It looks exactly the same though, except the structure is how I have set it in the custom menu.

The problem I have is this: I want more than 1 level in the drop down menu, which works fine on a PC but it is almost impossible to open sub menus on the iPad. Unless I can find a menu widget to work then I am an stuck with having a custom menu with only one level of drop down pages. The Mega Menu works on the iPad but I cannot get to use it within the Constructir theme.

I can’t help you then! Perhaps you need to look at using a different theme.
