Theme Conflict with Paypal Express?

    Hi,

    I think my theme is overriding the plugin. I have selected Paypal Express as my only method of payment, but there is still a “proceed to checkout” button above “pay with paypal” on my shopping cart page.

    The “proceed to checkout” button leads to a page on my site. The “pay with paypal” button goes directly to a paypal page for paypal express, which is what it’s supposed to do.

    I’m just wondering, is the best option to just hide the “proceed to checkout” button using CSS display:none ? Or is there a better way or a setting I am missing in woocommerce?

    What payment gateways do you have enabled in WooCommerce? It sounds like you must have something other than just PayPal Express Checkout enabled..??

    I agree–it does sound like that, but in woocommerce settings, the only thing I’ve enabled is “Express Pay…. paypal_express” Nothing else. You can see my confusion. I did have standard paypal enabled earlier. I thought maybe the button was cached somehow but I tried it in a different browser and same problem.

    Okay great, thank you. Just doing that now.

    We are having the same problem, what was the solution to this? We only have paypal express enabled and still see the “proceed to checkout” options.
