Theme Conflict… How do I add JS files?

    I’m using the arcade-basic theme which includes bootstrap, but it looks like th js file only includes dropdown and collapse, not the carousel script.

    When I tried adding in the carousel, it only shows the first image and it breaks the theme (header image doesnt load and other errors).

    My assumption is that it’s not working because the boostrap js files aren’t there. I’ve downloaded JUST the carousel js files from bootstrap and loaded them into my child theme js folder, but that doesn’t help.

    Any ideas?

    I’d start by removing the include in your theme (if editing it is possible) and loading in the full bootstrap JS file, rather than trying to add two together.. That way lies pain.

    Beyond that it’s difficult to say really – do any javascript errors pop up when you look in the chrome inspector? Can you supply a link where the error is happening?

    It’s the huge pics halfway down. There are a couple of dummy pics just to test.

    There is a header image that isn’t loading. However, if you click on the side of the pic (where the arrow would be) then the header loads. Weird.
