    Hello,

I compared this plugin in my local wordpress installation with many others and really like it. Nice layout, intuitive creation of events. Chose it to be my new events plugin.

Unfortunately, when I tried to configure it on the productive wordpress, I recognized that the plugin is obviously not compatible with the “Garfunkel” theme I use there. Didn’t know that this could be an issue, so forgot to test that on my local wp.

The events list page works flawlessly, but going into a single event leads to rendering issues. The normal theme background is not applied. I checked the css and recognized you render single event pages not like normal pages or posts but use your own styles. You don’t notice this in the standard wp theme…

Does this happen intentionally? Will there be a release in the future which renders events relying on wp pages or posts?

    Kind regards,
    Samuel

    Hello Samuel,

Our plugin is compatible with default WP Twenty themes. We just list the content in the templates and get the site header and footer from the theme installed.

For event detail page template, you have to make it according to your site. Please contact your theme developer to make the event detail template according to your site other detail templates.

Note: Don’t make changes in SEP core files. Hooks are available to customize the event templates.

Regarding iCal and Google Calendar we are working on it and will be fixed in our next SEP release.

    Thanks for reaching us out.

    Regards,

    Samuel,

    For detail page:
We are wrapping events’ content in between header and footer of your website. So, it’s an HTML structure issue. Please ask your theme developer to make its structure according to your site other pages.
