• Hi,
I’ve been using Events Manager for quite some time and am very happy with it.

Even version 6 is proving to be a good thing for new installations, I’m happy with the new layout (and the option to just turn it off of course ?? )

One thing that still kinda baffles me though is that you force colors into that layout, using !important even.

I understand the need for !important in some cases in order to make sure the layout looks as it should but I can think of no reason why you’d force a certain shade of blue into the links for example.

Obviously I’ll have a link color set via my theme, in what scenario would I want to have links in a different color on the events pages than the rest of the site?

Even if you add a colorpicker at some time in the future, I’ll still have to add link colors via my theme and then again via your color picker if you keep it like this.

I know I can overwrite the CSS variable using another !important statement in my own CSS, but I highly suggest you take a look at which CSS statements you really need to include with the EM-theme at this point.

Should there be a way to remove the EM color settings without removing the rest of the layout in EM 6.3, I’d be happy if you could point me to them.

As always, thanks for a great plugin!

    Bastian
