Theme-Color Error in Lighthouse

I have been working on getting out blog to pass the progressive web app checks in lighthouse. The PWA addon has been really easy to use and get setup except one thing

I have gotten everything past the audit except the “Address bar does not match brand colors” Failures: ‘No <meta name=”theme-color”>’ tag found

I have tried changing all of the color options in the settings with PWA but I am not getting it. I have searched through the forum here and done some google searching but I am missing this last thing.

I have seen a few pages mention this change should be in the web app manifest to specify the sitewide theme color, reference url https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2015/08/using-manifest-to-set-sitewide-theme-color

Can anyone help on how to get this done?
