[Theme: Codium Extend] Submenus in Menu bar – and about

1: I cannot work out how to create sub-menus in the menu bar of Codium Extended.
2: I cannot work out how to remove or change the descriptive text from the right side bar widget that says ‘About’. If I cannot change the text I would rather just remove that widget/panel.
Any help appreciated.
