How to remove the category tags on the top of each entry?

I’m not sure I entirely understand you. Do you mean you want to do something like this:

They are your category links. You’d need to edit the relevant template file in your theme (index.php for your current front page) and remove the entire <div class="dp100"></div> block.

… but what about keeping the Category option, but instead of having it at the top of each Blog entry title, would be an easy way of having it above/below the tags and with similar format?
