Theme Changes Not Showing Up

  • I’ve been trying to change my banner and several other things in my blog template.

    None of the changes are showing up, including a recent WordPress upgrade I did. I’ve tried saving posts, publishing posts, waiting overnight…not one of the changes I’ve made is showing up!

    Could this be an issue with my hosting company (Blue Host) or is this a WordPress problem?

  • You are running WP 2.6.5 and your active theme is Tiga. If you are making changes to the Tiga theme, then those changes should show up immediately. Your banner (header) seems to be on flickr…is there a reason you host it there instead of in your theme?

    I hosted it in Flickr for a URL code, and I just tried to do the latest WP Upgrade, but that didn’t work. I’ve also tried to change various colors around, but none of those changes have shown up either.

    Well, that’s strange…it looks like your blog is located in the root of your site…are you sure you don’t have a duplicate in a subdirectory that you are changing thinking it’s your root install?

    Ooo…but I think I found something that could be a duplicate…although I really don’t want to delete and mess up my site!
