• Hi Guys,

I have no idea why, but regularly all the changes in the customizer are lost. What could I do about this issue?

Thank you for help and advise.

    Regards,

    Karsten

  • Hi,

Sorry, I am unable to replicate your issue.

Are you using any type of database related plugin? database maintenance plugins?
Do you use any external service such as managewp to manage your WordPress?
Try disabling them and see if you are still have this issue.

Look for clues in server error logs and browser error console.

    Thank you

    Hi Denzel,

yes, it is a strange issue which I also can not replicate. It just happens sometimes. Today again, after a few days.

No, I don’t use database maintenance plugins.

No, I don’t use external service.

I have checked my Error Logs and yes, there are error messages regarding location of CSS directory:

[Wed Feb 15 01:58:54.729179 2017] [autoindex:error] [pid 8873] [client 45.79.210.57:11219] AH01276: Cannot serve directory /nas/wp/www/sites/karsten/wp-includes/css/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.html,index.cgi,index.pl,index.php,index.xhtml,index.htm) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive

    ————————————-

We have now reinstalled core files, and tomorrow I will see if there is still an error.

    Thank you

    Update:

I still see the same error messare in my Error Logs:

[Thu Feb 16 00:23:05.942884 2017] [autoindex:error] [pid 5188] [client 45.79.210.57:46194] AH01276: Cannot serve directory /nas/wp/www/sites/karsten/wp-includes/css/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.html,index.cgi,index.pl,index.php,index.xhtml,index.htm) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive

Any suggestion what I could do next to solve this issue?

    Thank you
    Karsten
