Theme causes some Media issues

  • The “New Maxx Lite” theme seems to break the Grid view in the Media Library, it never loads no matter how long you wait. It also seems to create errors when trying to upload any site logos or site icons.

    I just did a fresh install on a new database and I haven’t installed any plugins yet, just this theme. The Media Library grid view works 100% fine with the stock Twenty Fifteen theme, but as soon as I change themes it crashes.

    Great looking theme, I hope you can get the bugs worked out.

    Just an FYI I downloaded the Theme Check plugin and this theme give the following error:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2 bytes) in /home/pulloff/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/theme-check/checks/textdomain.php on line 62

    I’ve downloaded about 5 other themes and none of them gave any errors.

    Please go to Appearance > Editor > Theme Functions (functions.php), find and delete this code

    add_filter('image_size_names_choose', 'news_maxx_lite_image_size_names_choose');

    Save that file and it will be ok.

    Hi @kopasoft , can you tell us how to remove featured image from single page and POST BY RELATED RELATED POST from the single page ?
    It just ruining the design and your great work also this POST BY RELATED making visitors confuse.
