[Theme: Catchbox] How can I use Floating Social Media Plugin in the header?

  • Hi all!

    The Catchbox theme doesn’t have a header widget area & I’d like to create one so that I can place social media buttons on the right side in the header. I’ve read that I need to create a widget area in the header so can someone please explain how to do that? I have a child theme but I’m unsure whether this will go into the style folder or if I need to create a functions.php folder or something else. Or can I use the Custom Widget Area Plugin to create a header widget area? Please advise.
