    I’m unsure if it’s a child theme or custom style. Sorry.

    I thought I could take this out of the template index.php file, but don’t see it there…

    jessiewordpress, in my child theme, I removed this from the “content.php” and “content-single.php” templates, and it worked fine.

    Yes, since some of the text isn’t in tags, I’m pretty sure you have to edit the templates themselves to remove this.

    Doing this is much easier and will survive updates if you create a child theme.
