I am using theme builder to create a sticky menu/header for my whole site that I can easily edit as the site forms. The header has -90 bottom margin so that the text just sits on top of everything else on the page.

What I want to do is have a scrolling effect that makes the header drop down from the top of the page as you start to scroll down. However, when I add a scrolling effect to the section via theme builder, it does nothing on the live page (the same goes for transparency and other effects). When I adjust the scrolling effect parameters, the header on the live page matches the one on the theme builder but doesn’t change whatsoever when scrolling regardless of the parameters I set.

The weird thing is that when I set the Effects Relative To: Entire Page, the scrolling effect suddenly works, but way later than I want it to. Setting the Effects Realtive To: Viewport doesn’t fix anything.

There’s probably something simple I’m overlooking, but I can’t find a solution anywhere.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
