Theme blocks favorite link in post page

  • On the homepage where all the posts are shown, the favorite link shows up as regular text. so like “love” or “favorite” but it doesn’t show as clickable. Where in the theme can I fix this? Am I forced to work with the most simplest theme? Does anyone know a free theme that I can work with?
