[Theme: Astatinize] Incompatibility with PHP 5.3

    I have been using the Astatinize theme with my site (www.coffscoasttigersfc.org.au), but the servers upon which it is hosted recently discontinued support for PHP 5.2 and upgraded to PHP 5.3 and above.

    The theme no longer works on the website so I have reverted to Twenty Twelve. The theme is still installed but upon activation (or even live preview) in Dashboard, a 500 Internal Server error is displayed.

    I was told from another source that adding some code to my .htaccess file (which I have done) would negate this issue, as well as editing a line of the php.fcgi file (which I can’t even find). Just wondering if there are any other solutions to this issue as I would prefer not to spend 2 weeks redesigning the entire site for another theme particularly as the site needs to be active over the weekend.

    I have since discovered that the error occurs with all Padd Themes so I imagine a number of people are encountering similar problems.
