Same here. I’ve never seen a designer charge money for support before. And there are NO directions within the theme itself! I wouldn’t call it a free theme.

It is a free theme: hosting a theme or plugin here does not obligate the author to support their work for free or otherwise.

Of course, It’s very cool when they do and if they don’t it would be nice if they clearly posted that.

I was just wondering about the Featured Image. I’ve set one for a specific post but it doesn’t show.

The theme doesn’t display the featured post images in archive templates for ‘standard’ posts, only for ‘gallery’ posts. This is a design decision and your theme is working as intended.

This is clearly noted in the theme doc (within the theme itself). I don’t think there is a more suitable place.

Perhaps you could help me with a potentially easy/noob question? I just switched to Ascetica….

I want to edit/remove the menu in the top right corner. It doesn’t seem to be my custom menu widget nor can I find any other way to remove it. I’ve been stumped for hours. I’ve searched all kinds of forums but no one else has had this problem.

My ultimate goal is to display my menu through a widget and completely control the top right menu which seems to come default with your theme. Any help would be great.

Also, I don’t use any code. Is that practical for someone like me who wants to have a future strong online blog presence?
