Theme and widgets when info pulled from database
-
I have a site that show events in history for two nearby castles. I have the events displayed in tables for months and centuries. There’s also a footer that shows events for that particular day.
I’ve noticed that a lot of search engine results are going to pages with what seems like unformatted raw data pulled from the database. These pages don’t have the right and left sidebar widgets or the footer that’s on all my posts. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to get the theming back for these pages?
I’ve posted a link to a particular Henry VIII event that shows the problem. If you click the header text it will take you to the homepage with the normal intended layout.
By default wordpress themes display widgets on all posts and pages but these raw data pages seem to be something else so there doesn’t seem to be a way to get the theme or wordpress itself to recognise them as a post.
Thanks.
