  • IE sucks in all ways you can imagine, but IT IS NECESSARY to make your theme work in both engines coz there is a lot of people out there still using that crap, in my case i designed equiX with that in mind i know a lolt of people reading me using IE… for god sake check the stats! is 60/40…
So, i’ve try so hard to make it work on both of them and i think that untill people starts using ffox or IE gets standard compilant i will keep on it.

Er yes. I think we got that. Hence the hacking. Never liked splash pages myself. They are lethal to search engines.

Quote dawg – I am sorry but this is way out. The content and the menu / whatever need to expand/contract according to the content

It is liquid, it will expand to as manny posts as necessary, note min-height not max so escentially in FF if there is only one sentence it won’t bork but will expand to whatever is there.

PS I know the css is a mess, I need to take out a lot of repeated stuff, plus I made a mistake and saved the wrong css file on top of because the wrong theme was selected in dashboard and not like vkaryl did not have backup so I was screwed. I copied and pasted from several ones so now I have a clean up project, will get to it soon.

But what is min-height meant to be doing ?

the min height keeps it looking good if there are no posts in FF but not IE, if I remove all blog posts you would see what I mean in IE only would the sidebar extend down

The container should be filling up regardless. It has nothing to do with IE. / FF
