[Theme: Adaptive] Pages/Catagories only showing 5 posts

    I am updating a site for a client that has been built by a different company.

    The site uses the free WordPress theme Adaptive by Ani Purdila rather than the paid one of the same name.

    On a couple of the pages it only shows 5 posts. If a new post is added then one of the older posts drop off the page. In the settings/reading the display is set at the default of 30. I have also tried a couple of plugins to controls posts but these have no effect. The pages are picking up from categories so I’m not sure which of the 2 the issue is with.

    The theme is also supposed to be responsive but that does not appear to work either.
