Thematic Framework – Customize Menu Gone

I installed the Thematic Framework on the my WordPress site. When I clicked preview after I installed it, I seen the customize menu to the left and seen a bunch of customization options. When I activated the Thematic Framework, I went to customize my WordPress site, and the customize menu I seen during preview was not there. Can someone help me? Am I missing something?
