Theme and plugins disappeared

    I’ve emailed [email protected] twice over the last 2.5 days and haven’t received a response. I’ve checked my spam box as well and haven’t seen anything there either. Here is the issue.

    After installing Backup and Restore, I ran a local backup which was successful. I then tried to backup to Dropbox after obtaining the key and secret. Nothing seemed to happen. Then I noticed my theme and all plugins are missing from the WordPress dashboard. If I try to go to my site, the screen says “The theme directory “Stratus” does not exist” and “ERROR: The themes directory is either empty or doesn’t exist. Please check your installation”.

    When I look at my file transfer software, my theme and all plugins seem to be there. Please note that I am using WordPress Multisite.

    Hello,

    we have answered your support ticket “RE:Theme and plugins disappeared – website down” on 20.02.17.

    As for your problem, you have issues with access permissions on your files and our Backup & Restore Dropbox plugin neither changes nor deletes the files.

    Thanks. My fault as I had a typo in the email address I supplied. You did attempt to get back to me quickly. I look forward to your assistance in getting the issue resolved via email.
