Theatre ‘Events’ Listing

  • We seem to have an issue with the ‘Events’ listing in Theater. The listing view we see when going to Theater/Events is different to what we see when we’re on a specific ‘event/film’ page and click on ‘duplicate’ – there are more data columns. Also ‘duplicate’ is only viewable on the specific film page unless you reach the events listing from the event page itself if that makes sense? At the moment if we duplicate a film the Veezi data does’t filter across.

    The ‘Theater/Events’ is showing your events. It shows the event title and a summary of the dates.

    If you go to a specific ‘Event’ page, you see a list of dates that belong to the event. So if you click on ‘Duplicate’, then you are only duplicating a ‘date’, not an ‘event’.

    If you duplicate a ‘date’ that is coming from Veezi, then the duplicated ‘date’ does not have any Veezi data because it is not present inside Veezi. It is only present inside the WordPress database.

    I’m not sure I’ve explained it quite right…

    It’s the event editor that’s not showing a ‘dates’ comumn or giving the option to duplicate an event. We have the event duplicator extension installed – I see a diffent event listing in the editor when I click on duplicate from within an event page?

    I am not sure how you ended up on the screen with events with the ‘dates’ column. Do you know what you did to get there?

    Also, I just pushed out an update to the ‘Event Duplicator’ extension (v1.1) that fixes the problem with duplicating Veezi dates.

    Thanks, I reached the events screen with ‘dates’ column by clicking duplicate within one of the film (event) pages itself.
