the_excerpt and custom image

  • Hi all,
    At the moment I’m recoding my homepage. It is not the blog, but I’d like to show Teasers to the last 3 posts. Until here it is ok.

    I’ve use this technique: https://www.daobydesign.com/blog/2007/07/modifying-wordpress-front-page/ combined with the_excerpt function.

    But now I’d like to show a little thumbnail to make it a little bit more attractive. Is there a way to add something like and “excerpt image”?
