the_content() not closing divs

    Hi,
    If I have a post containing the ‘More’ marker, the DIV created by the_content() is not closed, causing all sorts of grief when rendering the current theme.
    I am using WordPress 2.6.3.
    The problem is also present in 2.7 beta 2 (upgraded from 2.6).

  • the_content doesnt add any divs that you havent added to your post or page.

    In other words, its your theme, or its what you are putting inside your posts/pages

    Doh!
    You are correct.
    Should have looked there the first time.
    I cut and pasted this from the Lorem Ipsum web site, along with the div, and again from one WordPress installation to another.
    Cue “Folks are dumb where I come from”… ??
