The xml link does not work in the Facebook business manager

I sent the print to the meta team, informing them that it has the tag, and they replied the following:

Hello Eduardo,

I forwarded your XML to our technical team, and they checked its content.

After investigation, the specialized team confirmed that the error in the file remains, as there is no <?xml tag added to the file.

To be valid, the file must begin with a valid <?xml declaration tag. In other words, you need to add the <?xml tag inside the file, at the beginning of the code.

Both articles explain where the declaration tag should be added within the xml.

Therefore, this will be a correction that you must make on your part. For more specific code and programming questions, you should contact a developer, as our technical team does not support these types of questions.

I am sorry but they really are wrong. This is not the problem. When you check the source of the XML feed in a browser you can see the XML declaration is there. @supportadtribes Hi, I have the same issue. I believe the reason is that the plugin generates Google feed instead of Facebook even if the last one was selected from drop down menu.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create feed
2. Select “Facebook Catalog Feed / Instagram”
3. Save it
Result: a Google XML file (with their namespace) is created:

Even if I change the mapping with a Facebook fields they all will be changed back to “g:elements”.

Plugin version: 13.0.1

In my case FB feed stopped working because <g:description> disappeared from the feed for unknown reason -> recreated the feed and all works again.
