My forminator form doesn’t save the correct answers to the WP database. It is a quiz, 4 pages with 5 questions each, all multichoice (radio buttons).

I randomly get the words two or one saved when I submit the form, for some of the answers it is saving the correct information but it appears to be quite random.

I have update the form several times with revised multichoice answers, when I’ve done this I have tabbed through the entire form and been sure to update (save) the form. I have cleaned out all the data from the database to ensure I am only seeing the latest submission from the form.

The table I am checking the data in is mydatabaseprefix_frmt_form_entry_meta. I have checked the settings of the form, been through each question, tabbed through every field, saved, updated the form multiple times now and just can’t seem to get it to save the correct data.

I found the problem, there is a little down arrow that shows a display for a ‘drop-down’ (I’m using radio buttons, not drop down) that defaults to what ever is shown the label with – between words. This is what is written to the database. This needs to be deleted and then tabbed back in by tabbing through the above label.

If you haven’t clicked the down arrow, then you won’t see and won’t have a clue its a problem.

    Hello @wpannier

Hope you’re doing well today! Glad to know that you were able to narrow down the problem.

It seems that you are referring to the Radio field “Option Value”, can you please confirm based on the below screenshot?

If not, can you please share more information about the “down-arrow” – a screenshot of the field including the arrow would be helpful so that we can see if there can be anything that can be improved.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh
