On my profile on Linked – https://in.linkedin.com/in/alokkejriwal , (please click on view full profile when you reach the end of the page), there is an option to add the Worpress app to show the lastest posts from my blog.

    I blog at https://rodinhood.com

For some reason, the last posts being shown on my linkedin profile page are almost 5 month old blog posts. There is no reason why my latest blog posts ( i post every week) are not showing up.

I wrote to linkedin.com, but they wrote back requesting help from wordpress.

We can’t see the options on your page, y’know ?? It’s your settings.

Ipstenu – thanks, but I have set it up fine. The challenge is that my blog posts arent getting updated. I have chosen the ‘latest blog’ option and have reinstalled the app several times…

I don’t know what LinkedIn uses to pull in posts, but at a guess, is RSS turned on?

i have identified the problem – till about 5 months back, i was hosted at wordpress.com (i had mapped my domain rodinhood.com to wordpress). Then i moved out to bluehost and used www.remarpro.com.

The old rodinhood.wordpress.com content still remains and thats what is showing up on linkedin.com (since it was mapped to rodinhood.com before i moved to blue host).

So, when the linked app looks up rodinhood.com – it extracts the wordpress.com content.

Should i permanentlt DELETE that old blog on wordpress.com?

No, but you have to sort out how to tell linkedin to go to the right site.

Delete the app on LinkedIn and re-add it?
