The widget doesn't close tags

The title isn’t very good for what I mean, but what is happening is that if the ‘Post Content Length’ cuts off in the middle of something that was bolded, initialized, header size, etc., all the post titles and experts that follow are as well.
Maybe it should strip out code so this doesn’t happen or include end tags?
