The whtasapp button does not work when the user rejects cookies

    Hi. Our website operates in the EU and we are required to place a banner in which the user accepts or rejects cookies. When you reject cookies, the WhatsApp button does not work. We appreciate your help in solving this.

    Effectively, Cookiebot is blocking Joinchat’s script if statistics cookies are not accepted. We believe that this sharing is not correct and we will try to solve it with them.

    For your part, you can also open a ticket in Cookiebot to try to resolve it more quickly.

    Hi, if you are using Cookiebot WordPress plugin, you can ignore some scripts. Try to add “wp-content/plugins/creame-whatsapp-me” in Cookiebot > Settings > Additional configurations at “Ignore scripts in queue from Cookiebot CMP scan:”

    Thank you very much for your response, but it has not worked. I have added the exclusion, I have forced the cookiebot scan, but joinchat still does not work if the cookies are rejected and the same thing happens to us with another plugin that is very necessary for us. Unfortunately Cookiebot support is not responding.
