The whole content of saved draft disappeared

  • Hi, I saved a draft on WP and saw the preview of the final version. But then when I opened the content again, the whole thing disappeared.

    On revisions, there is history with the full content, but when I click “restore this version” then it brings nothing but just the blank content. If I go back to the revisions, it shows that the system restored the old version, but I have no result, unfortunately.

    It worked all fine to save the final draft but do you know why it suddenly deletes the whole thing when I leave the page? It’s so frustrating and it’s happened often…

  • Hi, hollymoon100x, out of curiosity, do you have phpMyAdmin access to your site’s database?

    If you do, search for a table named like wp_posts, and search for your particular post to see whether the revision exists in the table.
