• I’m new to using WordPress as a developer (though I am an experienced developer.)

I’m developing a site using the Weaver II template and when I sent it off to the client for an initial look at the look/feel, she says that “hijacks” her computer. I take this to mean that it opens in full screen. Is that an option in some setting either in WP or in the template?

    Help?

    TY!!

  • There’s nothing in WordPress that does that, but I haven’t used Weaver beofre so I can’t comment on if there is or isn’t anything in there – but I would find it hard to beleive that they’d include something like that.

You really need to find out exactly what is happening at yor clients end. Just assuming could have you spending hours on searching for a solution to a problem that’s not there in the first place.

After that, the first de-bugging point is to revert back to a default theme and disable all plugins to see if it’s still happening then. if it is, then it will be an issue with their PC set up. if it’s not, re-enable everything one-by-one and test each time to see which plugin or theme causes that to happen. That will tell you where the problem is and you can investigate further.

Nothing in the theme can make the site open full screen. The client obviously has something else involved in her browser.

The client needs to be more specific
